Bridging climate science and policy
I am currently a Research Assistant Professor in the Department of Geography and Environmental Science at Hunter College, and adjunct assistant professor at the Graduate Center, CUNY, Program in Earth and Environmental Sciences. I investigate how climate change intersects with governance, vulnerability, and sustainable development across Caribbean and urban coastal regions.
As a chapter scientist for the IPCC Special Report on Climate Change and Cities, I contribute to global efforts to understand and address urban climate challenges. I employs mixed-methods including GIS analysis, ethnographic research, and computational and LLM-assisted discourse analysis.
